Hi bmeripol, and welcome to the forums!

You'll probably find that your university has a list of approved or "partner" institutions here in Argentina so you should try checking that out first.

When I did my study abroad back in the days, I applied through my local university and they took care of everything, except for flights, etc.

If you're in Bs.As. then you'll probably end up renting your own apartment unless the school has some accommodation specially allocated to students from outside the city. Pricewise that wont be a problem but you might need the school to put up a bond so that you don't have to pay one whole year's rent in advance.
