A Certificado de Domicilio is a certificate issued by the Police Commission in your neighbourhood stating the address where you live. The certificate is required to support your application for certain official documents such as a D.N.I. or a driving license, and may be required in other cases such as taking out a loan. You can order a Certificado de Domicilio by going along to your local Police station, or Comisaria. The price (at the time of writing this) is only $10 pesos and the certificate will normally be sent to your residential address within a couple of days by registered post.
