Entre Ríos province is located directly above Buenos Aires province and borders Uruguay to the east across the Uruguay river. The capital Paraná is in the west of the province, across the Paraná river from Santa Fe. Entre Ríos literally means, "between rivers". Agriculture and tourism make up much of the economy of Entre Ríos. Being only a few hours drive from Buenos Aires, the towns along the Uruguay river attract a lot of tourists from Argentina's capital looking to escape from the city for the weekend.
