Misiones

Misiones is the most northeastern province of Argentina, almost entirely surrounded by Paraguay and Brazil. It is home to one of the continent's most outstanding natural wonders - the Iguazú Falls, shared with Brazil on the other side of the river Iguazú. Las cataratas, as the falls are known in Argentina, is a system of almost 300 waterfalls spread out over 2.7 kilometres of the Iguazú river.

Misiones is also one of the world's largest producers of yerba mate, a tea-like drink which is incredibly popular throughout Argentina, surrounding countries and parts of Asia.
